New Game Engine

Hello there! It's been a while since I've last visited. So to start things up, here's an update about the Wimow game. It's going to have a new game engine and it's made in HTML5. So the one you saw in the video won't be the one coming out.
A link to the online playable demo of the game is coming soon!

Wimow is 2 years old!

It's Wimow's second year since its creation on November 15, 2009. I've been working on a Wimow platform game lately in my spare time. You can view the preview at wimow.blogspot.com.

Here are some of the screen shots:

The Origin of Wimow

Here's a summary of the Origin of Wimow.

Year 2099, the world has been taken over with deadly robots that killed so many humans. Humans will soon be extinct.

A man has invented a robot that would save the human race. This robot is Wimow. When Wimow is activated, it will explode and blast into the sky.  Wimow in his Podshell enters a wormhole in year 40,000 B.C.E. as he is blasted at a very high speed. As hundreds of years have passed, Wimow in his Podshell lands on Planet 612 in the W-crater. When Wimow tries to power itself with solar energy, there is an error in the program so he blasts himself once more into space. Many long years have passed and Wimow returns to Earth. Year 2010, Wimow lands in the ocean and sank. He is left untouched there until year 2189 when he suddenly rebooted, causing a shockwave underwater. As the waves brought Wimow to shore, it once more took some solar energy. This time, the installation is successful. Wimow, puzzled where he is, decides to leave the island.

Wimow

This is Wimow.  Wimow is a robot I created in November 2009 that can upgrade itself to help people and other robots. It was obviously inspired by a wall socket.  I have created series of storyboards about its origin and adventures.
